Maps are an integral part of our lives. We use them to navigate through space and quite literally find our way through life. An effective map tells a compelling story because it knows what to emphasize and what to leave out. Similarly, storymaps can help an audience navigate their way through a space without having to be there. In this workshop, we will learn how to utilize the power of multimedia story maps. We’ll discuss various strategies and techniques for creative story mapping and how it can spark engagement, encourage and inspire an audience. and create our own stories through GPS photography.
