In this workshop, we will examine what makes Ableton Live one of the most popular Digital Audio Workstations; primarily the extreme flexibility it allows producers. Recording, composition, mixdown, remixing, and even DJing can be handled in the same app, with a bit of configuration. We will focus on understanding the two-sided interface, setting up a workflow, and working through some common musical tasks.
Prerequisite: None
Required Materials: Laptop, Ableton Live (can be demo or Live Lite)
Audience: Musicians, sound designers, recording engineers
