Darrell has a background in taking things apart and occasionally
putting things together. Over the years, he's
manufactured/designed/marketed/consulted on projects small and large.
Favourites include: laser-cut embroidery clocks, wooden open source
computers, weird mechanical keyboards, LED MIDI controllers, wood
postcards, and lasered things that make his friends smile. Working with
the crowdfunding platform Crowd Supply, he helps creators with every
stage of their open source hardware projects. But his most satisfying
accomplishment to date was fixing a light-up toy at the age of five.
Darrell loves exploring the possibilities embedded in crazy ideas and helping turn them into reality.
